Moonwood Flower Farm started with a picture I couldn’t quite get out of my head. There were flowers, of course. Rows of them. Buckets overflowing! But the part I kept coming back to wasn’t the flowers. It was how people felt while being here.

Walking the fields. Getting their hands dirty. Finally catching up with friends. Spending an afternoon without checking the clock. I wanted to make a place where you could slow down without having to try.

Maybe you come with your kids for a You-Pick afternoon. Maybe you meet a friend for a Snip-and-Sip. Maybe you stop by for your CSA bouquet and end up taking the long way back to your car because you’re not quite ready to leave the fields.

Those are the moments I’m building Moonwood for.

Life gives us plenty of reasons to hurry. This farm is meant to be the opposite. A place where you can take your time, enjoy the people you’re with, and remember what it feels like to have nowhere else you need to be.
